Today is Day 5! Probably the hardest at that! There is arguably a hero in every movie. So how can I pick only a few?! Today I have narrowed it down to two heroes. If you want to read about my favorite heroines click here. SimbaAs most heroes, Simba grows into his hero status. In fact in the beginning of the movie Simba can be seen as a coward. He abandons his kingdom and runs away (of course he also thinks he's killed his father). But he is able to make up for this mistake and stops running from his problems. He returns after word of Scar ruining his kingdom and build the empire back up. Simba's guilt over his dads death makes him more courageous and he is able to face his fears. Simba grows into a strong charismatic leader. QuasimodoI just want to give Quasimodo a hug. Quasimodo's story is tear worthy. This is the first time I think there is a male protagonist you can really feel for. Throughout his life he manipulated, lied to, and set up with situations that would make it seem as if he will endure the worst life. But, through all of this pain and misery he stood up selflessly to save the woman he loved. Even when she told him she loved another, Quasimodo understood and was unconditionally supportive. No other male Disney character has showed that type of love toward anyone before. It's refreshing and admirable. There we have it day 5! Who are your favorite Disney heroes? There are tons more out there!

Hello! It is May 3rd! Which means today is the 3rd day of the 30 day Disney challenge! Yayyyyyyyyyy! Today I will tell all of you my favorite Disney heroines! Judy HoppsEven thought Judy is small she has some kick to her! She is the first of her kind to become a police officer and shows her true bravery when she solves the case of Mr. Otterton. She's is hardworking and ALWAYS puts others before herself while showing absolute bravery! She breaks so many stereotype roles and is someone I hope a lot of young girls look up to. MulanDo I really need to explain? Mulan is the epitome of a hero and bravery! She takes her fathers place in the Chinese army and proves she is just as capable as any man. AND she singlehandedly saved ALL OF CHINA!!!!! This is a role model if I ever did see one. I <3 her! ColetteThis one is a not so notable character, but I've always really admired Colette. She is the only female chef among a lot of men that work at Gusteau's. She still proves herself to be the most talented one there and is very confident in who she is!! She plays a pivotal role in bringing down the villain of the movie, Skinner, and becomes co-owner of the restaurant. So that is day 3 folks! Tune in tomorrow for day four and the rest of May for more of my Disney OPINIONS! Let me know who your favorite Disney heroines are in the towel section below. Have a magical day!
Welcome back! Today's challenge is who is your favorite princess? So lets hop right in! Keep coming back all May to see each of these days! RapunzelI love Rapunzel! I see a lot of myself in her! She's so quirky and curious! I love her artistic ability and want to see more of the world. She's feisty, brave, and shows kindness to everyone she meets! I also love her pep and optimism! TianaTiana is so beautiful! She is such a hard worker and doesn't let others diminish her dreams! She is sassy and cares so much about her family. I admire her dedication and the way she problem solves. I also really love her dress. I think it's the prettiest of all of the princesses dresses! That's the end of day 2 here! Come back everyday to learn more about my favorite and least favorite things about Disney. Let me know who your favorite princesses are in the comment section below!
For the entire month of May I've decided to do the 30 day Disney challenge. Here's what it entails So hop on back everyday to learn some new things about me! Lets start! Day 1: Favorite CharacterI have a couple but this is sooo easy! If you know anything about me then you know I love Alice from Alice in Wonderland! I love her curiosity and imagination. I feel like I am a lot like her (and I can do the perfect impression of her). She is always wanting to learn more about the world and often lives in a world of her own. ;) She can be considered naive, but is well trained and polite. She is very courageous and I feel like even if something scares her she still goes after it. She is curious for goodness sake! This can sometimes be her biggest weakness but also her biggest strength. Alice is independent and thinks for herself. Overall she is one of those characters old and young people can relate to and I wish I was her all of the time. Jessica Rabbit! She is from the movie Who Framed Rodger Rabbit and is married to toon Rodger Rabbit. Jessica is one of those characters I really really admire believe it or not! She is drawn to very scandalous and not intelligent. But as she says to Eddie Valiant in the movie, "I'm not bad , I'm just drawn that way." She proves herself to be selfless and compassionate for Rodger. Everyone wonders how they ended up together and she says it's because he makes her laugh. She truly loves him despite him not being very rich or handsome. She makes it clear throughout the movie that she is loyal beyond compare to Rodger. She breaks this stereotype of beauty and brains not being complimentary and I LOVE that! Seriously Julie Andrews though. What an icon! Not only do I love this movie but I also love the musical as well! As a nanny she is fairly stern but not in a mean way, she commands respect from people without raising her voice or lifting a finger. She considered herself to be practically perfect and lots of people respect her (including me). She is clever and classy all things I strive to be! Thanks for reading the first day of the 30 day Disney challenge! Please come back everyday to see whats next! Who are your favorite Disney characters? Please let me know in the towel section below! Have a magical day. :)
